Who we are

AntiCoagulation Europe (ACE) is a registered charity committed to the prevention of thrombosis and the provision of information and support for people already receiving anticoagulant and anti-platelet therapy. As well as our comprehensive web site, a quarterly magazine, leaflets and fact sheets are available.

What we do

We aim to give support to all patients, their families and carers on all aspects of anticoagulation therapy, as well as fostering and encouraging communication and education on anticoagulation therapy.

AntiCoagulation Europe (ACE) campaigns for excellence and equity of provision of healthcare and, with its advisory panel of leading experts, is actively involved in the development and implementation of Government policies and initiatives to encourage people to take an active role in their own health care.

Why we care

There is a need for more patient information for people on oral anticoagulation therapy. We believe that people need more help in obtaining the information they need. This charity has been formed to enable people to access advice, information and support that up to now may have been difficult to find.

Our aim is to help you

We have a medical advisory panel comprising two Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeons, two Consultant Haematologists, an Academic GP and a Pharmacist.
