'Strips on prescription' resource pack

AntiCoagulation Europe have been contacted by a number of people to say that they are experiencing difficulty in obtaining the reagent testing strips for their self-monitoring devices on prescription.

The strips have been on the drug tariff, and therefore available on prescription, since the 2nd May 2002. However, it clear that some Primary Care Trusts are refusing to let GPs prescribe them.

In the light of this, ACE have produced a resource pack to help you plan how you might go about trying to reverse these decisions.
