UNIPATH withdraws smartchek

Following completion of a clinical study Unipath Limited has made the decision to withdraw all of its Smartcheck self-testing monitors in use by health care professionals.

The monitors were not in use by individual patients and this trial and recall does not affect any other make of monitor.

If your clinic was using one of the Smartcheck INR monitors they will make other arrangements for your INR test. If you have any concerns please speak to your clinic.
